Welcome
Once upon a time, there was a little girl who decided to become an artist when she grew up. Her grandfather was a painter and it was he who awoke her interest in fine arts. When she was six years old, she made her first painting. She still remembers how her grandfather watched her as she used his oils on her tiny canvas. The little girl is all grown up now. She has told me that psychological aspects of theatre and fairytales fascinate her currently. She wants to make her own presence known in different ways, presently by directing herself as a protagonist. She strives to create tension between absence and presence, and wants to experiment with the difference between audience and participant – the distance between audience and performer.
Yours Sincerely, Elsine Hoff
